7 things I need from you before I can design your website

In order to get your website up and running on time and to ensure a smooth design and development process, I need some information from you in advance.

Below is a list of 7 things I need before I can start:

  1. Information about your company,

    • Address, e-mail and telephone number

    • Which industry, what do you do and what are your strengths

    • Customers and target group

    • Links to your profiles in the social media

  2. Logo - The logo should be high-resolution and have a transparent background. If no logo is available, then the name/title for the website.

  3. Website planning - planning your website is a fundamental component of getting your project off the ground. Here are a few tips for planning your website

  4. Website structure - To avoid your website becoming a nice, lonely place, you should make sure you have an optimized and SEO-friendly structure for your new website. Here are a few tips for creating a good website structure.

  5. Requirements for the website - what is the purpose of your website, do you want to sell products, services or events online or should the website be purely informative? Who is your target audience and what do you want to achieve with your website?

  6. Appearance of your website - this is the exciting part! What should the website look like, i.e. professional, playful, informative, luxurious, colors, visuals? It is always best to provide examples of websites that you like and also of those that you don't like at all and why.

  7. Content - images, graphics and all texts for all pages

I will certainly need additional information throughout the process, but these points are a good first guideline to gather all the basic information I need to get started with your website quickly.
